Hello, im running Hardy in Presario F730US amd64 and installed ndiswrapepr
following this HowTo:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/bcm43xx/Feisty_No-Fluff#head-cbc75fcb762da2057fa8dbe904358e4b611353c0
and also applied the Hardy bug fix and mi BCM94311 mini-pci (rev 02) works
fine, but "dmesg" shows this:

[ 602.492963] b43-phy0 ERROR: PHY transmission error
[ 602.492972] b43-phy0 ERROR: PHY transmission error
[ 602.492981] b43-phy0 ERROR: PHY transmission error

and if i open lots of tabs in Firefox 3 beta 5, the laptop hangs me, no
keyboard or touchpad response and i have to power down manually. This is very
serious and i need a fix in order to keep working under ubuntu, "uname -r"
shows this kernel 2.6.24-17-generic
The thing is that i need te machine to be robust. could it be the wireless?
what is the meanning of that message ERROR PHY transmission whatever... the how
to i followed was very clear and i applied it to my harware, the rev 02, i also
read about a kernel patch but i don't know how to do it, i never touched the
kernel.. i only follow whatever i find in forums because i'm new to linux.

Before this i tried the fw-cutter to extract the firmware and it worked
also, and the wireless was connected even under low signal but i had
disconnections every 20 minutes.... it also hanged the computer in that
nasty way.... may a problem with firefox? i installed firefox 3 but the
same happened....

Please need help, i wrote on 2 or 3 threads and got no response...

i can send you outputs of commands that you ask... but this machine is
the only way i have to do my astronomy research.

Thanks a lot.
