Thank you so much Daniel.
When I tried
sudo apt install linux-generic-hwe-22.04
It suggested me the kernal 5.15.0.27
I could not find 5.15.0.27 folder in https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/
I downloaded deb files manually (one deb is not getting downloaded) from
https://kernel.ubu
OK so we need to find a kernel with a working driver for the 'Broadcom
BCM4365'.
Maybe the next step is to uninstall kernel 5.17.6 because it's
unsupported:
sudo apt purge linux-headers-5.17.6-051706-generic linux-
headers-5.17.6-051706 linux-image-unsigned-5.17.6-051706-generic linux-
modules-
Thank you. I did that. Now hanging issue is resolved but wifi adaptor is
not working

To test a kernel, please:
1. Download all the deb files in the directory:
https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.17.6/amd64/
2. Install them as a single command:
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
3. Reboot.
4. Verify the new kernel is active by running 'uname -r'.

Since there's no evidence of a user-level failure, but you are using a
kernel that's much older than the official one for 22.04, would you
consider trying a newer kernel? Like:

I can't see any recent crashes or errors that would explain a hang. Are
you sure it's the whole system hanging or just individual apps?

Yes one of those crashes is Skype, and the Xwayland crashes could be
related to Skype, Zoom or Thunderbird...
I just realized the hang and the flicker are two separate bugs. The hang
is probably more important so I'll change the bug to focus on that.
