I finally found the culprit: the bug came from a local custom-made
website (http://localhost/...) I had visited before and that contained a
favicon.ico with PNG data in it (instead of ICO data). The favison.ico
was in my cache, and anytime I typed an address containing "local",
Epiphany crashed.

OK, after tinkering a bit, I think I have found a way to reproduce it
easily: it seems that the browser crashes whenever you type something
that matches one of the URIs stored in the browser's history. So the
crash is probably related to the address bar's auto-completion /
suggestions.

I just removed my ~/.local/share/epiphany browser, and the browser
doesn't crash anymore...
