I finally found the culprit: the bug came from a local custom-made website (http://localhost/...) I had visited before and that contained a favicon.ico with PNG data in it (instead of ICO data). The favison.ico was in my cache, and anytime I typed an address containing "local", Epiphany crashed.
After removing the cache and fixing the issue in the favicon, the bug disappeared. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1926127 Title: Gnome-web crashes immediately when typing in address bar To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/epiphany-browser/+bug/1926127/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
