Thomas, why don't you use the pm-utils? Try to suspend with "sudo pm- suspend". If this doesn't work either, have a look into the log files (/var/log/pm-suspend.log). In the log you attached on 1.2.2008 it says: [ 731.428381] Suspending console(s) [ 731.431397] suspend_device(): usb_suspend+0x0
