On my system in the installer logs I have:

I was able to install 19.10 on ppc64el Power8 hardware (8335-GTA) that
we have in our lab, using the netboot installer. netboot also uses D-I
to install Ubuntu, but it fetches packages over the internet from the
Ubuntu archives rather than from a CD. I am not sure this is going to

Unable to install GRUB in /dev/sda1 on ppc64le for Ubuntu 19.10

When I tested daily ISO on power8 system, I had used samaba share to
serve up the iso that was mounted as virtual CDROM. The issue was the
dos character set that was served by the samaba server was different
from that of the BMC. This resulted in the installed failing on certain
package names that
IBM, It will be helpful to know which daily image was used to install,
also, was this install done on a Power8 or Power9 system? The comments
in the description mentions several attachments, could you please mirror
those over?
