I have difficulties to create a shared folder with the host ubuntu and
usb drives are not working by default - haven't done either operation
before so theres no way to import those .blend files where the problem
occurs. Besides that virtualbox supports only 32-bits guests so there
are too many unkn
It is possible if there exists a live cd. Otherwise I would try it out
within virtualbox. Let's see...
