The crash pop-ups relate to both cupsd and cups-browsed with same
"crashed with SIGSEGV in__strcasecmp_l_avx()" explanation. However, this
is not systematic: yesterday I got both cupsd and cups-browsed crash
reports immediately after start-up, today no crash report yet, even
after more than 30 mins
Are all the crash pop-ups actually related to cups-browsed as the one
you have talked about in you comment? Or are there also some related to
CUPS (cupsd)? Do the pop-ups all report the same problem ("crashed with
SIGSEGV in__strcasecmp_l_avx()")?

I used the command line ubuntu-bug cups. I confirm I get the systematic
internal error pop-up at start-up and I have just submitted again a
report "cups-browsed crashed with SIGSEGV in__strcasecmp_l_avx()" but it
does not help much... . Please let me know how I can get you the "stack

How did you do this bug report? The automatically generated information
does not contain any stack trace.
When it comes to a crash there is usually a pop-up guiding you to a bug
report or at least submitting information about the crash? Have you seen
such a pop up and accepted sending the informat
