suffer the same issue when the package xserver-xorg-vide

X freezes since upgrade to lin
I can confirm the bug is present with linux-image-
extra-4.4.0-22-generic. But of course I could give a try with the latest
upstream builds. But I recently upgrade to Xenial (16.04 LTS), and I do
not see uptreams 4.6 kernels for that version.

For documentation purposes, using the default drivers (so doing sudo
apt-get remove xserver-xorg-video-intel xserver-xorg-video-intel-dbg)
let you use the laptop, although with precarious graphical conditions.

X freezes since upgrade to linux-image-4.
I have some issues with apport-collect and openssl. But anyway, I got
some details opening a ssh connection while reproducing the issue (which
is good, because then is more a drivers issue than anything in the core
syssystems of the kernel).
