I just asked in case they new release could have any non-compatible dependency.
After upgrading to linux- image-4.6.0-040600-generic_4.6.0-040600.201606030904_amd64.deb from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.6-yakkety/ I still suffer the same issue when the package xserver-xorg-video-intel is installed. I'm a bit frustated with this issue... I have no idea where else look for a solution. The graphical performance of the laptop without those drivers is really poor. Thanks for your support, Christopher. ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1567309 Title: X freezes since upgrade to linux-image-4.2.0-35-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1567309/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
