Option to "add" custom settings in Hardy Heron should NOT depend on
simple-ccsm since is way underpowered compared to ccsm.
users should have the extra option link directly to simple-ccsm and give
the advanced users the ability to run "custom" with a direct link to
ccsm (if installed) not simple-c

The custom option is omitted from visual appearances as of 7.10-RC. It
does not appear until the user installs ccsm via add/remove or synaptic.
Therefore a user will not have the problem of encountering a useless
option as described in the bug description.

I completely understand not wanting to give inexperienced users the
ability to break things...
I had a similar solution in mind. Under the custom config option there
should probably be a little note looking something like the following:
Custom: Use a custom user defined set of effects. In order t
ok if the link is ever found it would be appreciated.
It would still be very helpful to have some message attached to the custom
option for those interested. Perhaps giving a warning but also giving
instructions to make the custom option work.
