You mean 2.2.1 ? of well, this is a very old problem with the yahoo protocol,
it has been submited on the pidgin "official" bug tracker. It's related to the
yahoo protocol file changes... pidgin needs some updates, this also affects
windows, not just linux/Ubuntu.

Yes i confirm it. I tried logging into pidgin through 2 different yahoo
accounts on the same machine and transfer files but that didnt work
either.
