I have a reproducible case of this bug (or something very similar), so am reopening. I'm running Gutsy (upgraded from Feisty) on an HP dc5750. When copying from a pair of external USB 1-terabyte drives to a pair of internal SATA 1-terabyte drives, I get hangs that can only be fixed (so far) by re

When removing ehci_hcd _before_ mounting the disk and starting the copy, the problem does not occur (but then, the copy is unbearingly slow...) When keeping ehci_hcd, occasionally messages such as the following are logged: usb 4-2.1: reset low speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address -- One
