I have a reproducible case of this bug (or something very similar), so am reopening.
I'm running Gutsy (upgraded from Feisty) on an HP dc5750. When copying from a pair of external USB 1-terabyte drives to a pair of internal SATA 1-terabyte drives, I get hangs that can only be fixed (so far) by rebooting. Details below in the next comment. ** Changed in: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Confirmed -- One broken USB storage device can hang the entire USB subsystem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/136822 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
