Ditto. Right-clicking the title bar and selecting full-screen seems to
take it the rest of the way. Youtube will at times work fullscreen but
that is probably only when HTML5 is in use.
I'm running Xubuntu 14.04 with:
adobe-flashplugin 11.2.202.378-0trusty (flash player reporting version
13.0.0.
Bug affects me on Xubuntu 14.04.

I just tested it and it works as expected in Gnome Flashback Unity and
Ubuntu Default Session, so it seems to be a problem in Gnome Flashback
Metacity only.
