I just tested it and it works as expected in Gnome Flashback Unity and
Ubuntu Default Session, so it seems to be a problem in Gnome Flashback
Metacity only.

** Description changed:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
  1. Launch chromium and open
http://www.spiegel.de/video/wochenrueckblick-die-bilder-der-woche-im-video-video-1345052.html
- 2. Click on video full screen button
+ 2. Click on video full screen button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Video should be displayed in complete full screen with video
controlbar at the bottom.
Actual: Video opens in dedicated window, controlbar not reachable.
