This is definitely fixed now; for example in the final Ubuntu 7.10
release you can see the translation perfectly fine in German and Swedish
(just the first two I tried). Of course the string has changed in Hardy
and needs to be retranslated, but that's normal enough; it's

Reproduce:
Boot from latest Gutsy image, change language. Menu still shows "install with
driver ..." in English. I guess this is only a problem of a mal formated
translation string not being replaced.

The live CD is missing localized text for "Install with driver update CD"
The alternative CD is missing localized text for "Text mode install for
manufacturers"
Tested on Gutsy Tribe 3 even though the issue existed on the original Feisty
CDs too.
