This bug seems to be fixed in Intrepid and can be closed. I just installed Eclipse and Tomcat5.5 via apt-get and the Web Tools Platform 1.5 (needed for "Dynamic Web Project") via the Eclipse update mechanism (WTP is not packaged for Ubuntu yet). Selecting /usr/share/tomcat5.5 as the "tomcat insta
