Please clarify. All i did was click on the "Update" button when the Update Manager announced that and upgrade for Feisty was available. Nonetheless. the "Update Manager Team" fixed that bug. All my current pkg repos are now based on feisty. As for Firefox's problem - found the solution on the

acroread was removed from feisty for a few reasons afaik the main reason is it was no longer being supported. Firefox needs an outside plugin to handle PDF files. please search for a new plugin to handle them in the repos (there are a few) and tell me if this fixes it. firefox needs to save the PDF

Firefox doesn't handle PDF files nativelly, so it will ask to either Save or Open using an external application, unless it is configured to always Save PDF files. To change this configuration enter in: Edit -> Preferences -> Content -> Filetypes -> Manage and remove the PDF form the list. ** Chang
