i agree more or less: xcircuit is very handy (as long as you don't turn your num-lock on :p) for drawing simple geometric things. In the meanwile, i now discovered qcad, which solved my problems. Qcad is also great and not too difficult to work with, and you can (ab)use it for more or less the sam

Please, can you explain better the word "irreparably"? Xcircuit is an old but great program, with a very good ouptut quality, and very useful. It would be a great loss if it's removed from ubuntu. I agree that the 3.6 series have some problems, being this segfault one of them. But 3.6 series is a
