I can't reproduce the bug on an updated Precise system, so I guess it has been
resolved in Precise as well. No need for an SRU.

Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because based on your last
comment the bug has been fixed in the latest stable version of Ubuntu -
Quantal Quetzal.
This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in
pre
Forgot to mention that it happened in Precise. In Quantal the expected
display language is applied, so I added a precise tag to this bug
report.
