I don know if this is a real bug. I'm kinda fed up with unexplainable
errors and windows silently (or very noisily) disappearing in Wine, but
with no apparent *real* reason or any way to fix what's wrong. Anyway,

Tried Gonzalo's fix to no avail.
My system is a Toshiba L305-S5919 laptop (came with Vista Home Basic which I
obliterated). Fresh installed 9.04, then upgraded to 9.10, then upgraded (?) to
10.04.
Couple things got broke, but this "Cannot connect to / browse Windows Shares"
bug is killing me. T
