Well this problem was happening on lucid IIRC but I upgraded to
maverick and haven't really noticed it. But something is happening
with my swap. My disk starts churning and completely stalls my
netbook. I had to restart it at times. I don't use quicklists so much
so don't know if I'm getting hit b

For some reason I can't reproduce this now (after 3 reboots). Perhaps
an update fixed it? I still have to try booting into Windows and then

It looks bland and uninteresting because it is so empty.

i'm on a desktop pc and i'm also getting this. the beep happens also on
shutdown and since my monitor losses video signal before any errors are
displayed i have no idea what's happening.

GDM is uneffected. only usplash. i even got an apport error telling me
that usplash crashed but that it couldn't send the bug report since the
problem was in the BIOS.
i'm using Abit IP35 motherboard with one of the newer BIOS updated (will

red vertical bars. after going through half a boot (my perception) the bars
started to move. even bars up odd down. and tty1 (ctrl+alt+f1) didn't work. nor
