The system continues to freeze with Firefox - have to force a power down. Is
there something that I need to be noting of dumping from the system. I don't
know anything about Ubuntu, but am willing help if supported. Or should I just
boot with windows and move on.

this was set as invalid due to the incorrect foxfire level, but in
actuality it is valid since the code is standard Unbuntu 8.04 with
Firefox 3.01 and the problem remains - the system freezes as described.
If there is anything else I can do to document this please let me know.

My mistake - it is Firefox 3.01 - and yes it was a standard downloaded
package.
I have had in on for while but can only get 20 minutes or so when Firefox is
on. If I leave the computer on all night without Firefox it is still
