I don't remember what package is responsible for Russian spell check,
but here is a output of:
$ dpkg -l |grep spell
ii aspell 0.60.6-2
GNU Aspell spell-checker
ii aspell-en 6.0-
Thank you for that lead about, trying another user. The bug is not happening
under different user.
And you are right. It is related to spell check.
Russian spell check to be exact. See the screenshot of Evolution's "Edit ->
Preferences -> Composer Preferences -> Spell Checking".
