Thank you for that lead about, trying another user. The bug is not happening under different user. And you are right. It is related to spell check. Russian spell check to be exact. See the screenshot of Evolution's "Edit -> Preferences -> Composer Preferences -> Spell Checking". As soon as I uncheck "Russian", it starts to work even without restarting Evolution. As soon as I put it back, Evolution is crashing again. And it is happening on all letters, even if it has zero Russian characters.
