What is going on with Ubuntu? my computer runs USB devices at 2.0 speeds
in windows, but ubuntu only runs at USB 1.1 speeds.

In lucid file transfer windows stay open and show an incomplete transfer
process, even when checking the source file and target filereveals the
operation finished successfully. Eventually, the window goes away, but
sometimes takes several minutes
I've got this EXACT same bug with Lucid. this happens on several of my
machines with several disks
