Epiphany browser in Jaunty beta does not support apturl (e.g. apt
://epiphany-browser), while Firefox does for a long time. As Epiphany
(and apturl) gains more popularity between users, this can be serious
drawback.

tvtime 1.0.2-0.3ubuntu2, intrepid.
Run tvtime, press Tab for menu, go to Output configuration -> Apply
matte -> 16:10. Matte will change according your choice. Close tvtime
and reopen it again. Matte is 4:3 now, no previous settings are
remembered

even if the last four has "NoDisplay=true" set inside:

Well, investigation on this bug led me to full installation of Interpid
alpha-4 on my laptop. The bug is gone, everything regarding panel works
well. Maybe it's only a virtual video adapter thing or something.
I think this bug can be closed now.

In Ubuntu 8.04.1, gwget 0.99-2ubuntu1 file download progress halts just

I just tried to switch the graphic card driver back to "nv" and the problem
appears again. So it must be something with it. Bad luck for opensource driver.

No, but it looks that the main "fix" for it was installation of
proprietary driver for nvidia card after all. Maybe the open "nv" driver
has problem with rendering more complex pages with gecko.
I'm not sure if this bug can be closed. Perhaps the "Affects" field
should be changed from "epiphany-br
Alas, I can confirm this kind of behaviour with EVERY type of window. Feisty
with latest updates, Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT.

News: Some friends of mine noticed the same issue — on Digg, last.fm,
etc. — with any gecko-based browser in Feisty. Browsing these sites
rapidly increases X's CPU usage up to 100%, so whole system slows down.
It must be something with gecko and CSS rendering.

PS: OK, now I'm testing it again (for now from live CD), and it seem
that it depends on the time spent on the website (even in Firefox). It
changes from time to time - sometimes it renders and scrolls good,
sometimes it gets jerky again. Still best best seen on digg - try to

Hi, it seems that this bug is already fixed, or something else caused that
it stopped to appear. I'm currently using Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Dapper Drake)
with all udates. A while ago I tried the daily build of the next Ubuntu
release (Feisty Fawn) and the Save/Save as dialog is working
flawlessly.Thanks
