The workaround works, but it's not a solution. Strange that there's no
activity for such a simple bug.

Public bug reported:
Since my update to saucy, evolution isn't translated in french anymore.
In package language-pack-gnome-fr-base (1:13.10+20131012), I've found:

but evolution is version 3.8.4-0ubuntu1.

For comment #13, I can't try digital capture as I don't have digital
devices anymore for input.
However, the bug came back again. Yesterday my wife had no digital sound output
anymore, so I switched back to analog. It may be a transient hardware problem?

parameters and check if it works better.

PS : I tried booting with another system on an USB disk. I had the same

systems).

Here is the pulseaudiolog.
I followed the steps described in
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log. I only had to do a 'sudo killall
pulseaudio' instead of 'killall pulseaudio'
During the log, I :
- launched pulseaudio for my session 'LANG=C pulseaudio - --log-time=1 >
~/pulseverbose.log 2>
Same for me. I had to switch to analog output! (12.04 - amd64)

Purtroppo no. Ho scariscato l'iso di Ubuntu10.10 da
http://www.ubuntu.com/netbook/get-ubuntu/download direttamente dal netbook
dove avevo WinXP e poi ho creato direttamente la Pendrive USB utilizzando
Universal-USB-Installer.

- modifying the xorg.conf file
... with no results!
