By 2 fingered middle click I mean hitting the touchpad with 2 fingers at the
same time, like one does to left click, but with 2 fingers (I think right click
is attained h
@William, that seems to be a different error, but I'm not competent enough to
say for sure.
In my case the issue was actually with i915 not loading properly.
It turns out that i810 is actually deprecated, with a working system I still
get the i810 warning but everything is working fine.
What har
kernel 2.6.31-19-generic-pae has fixed the issue for me.

I'd agree with you if the user were to actually click on the lock screen
option, but if it were just enabled in the screen saver, you wouldn't
want the pc to stop playing music just because you're away from the
keyboard. On the other hand if you needed to mute the volume quickly for

I rebooted into the non working kernel and using: lsmod|grep -E
'[[:blank:]]i[0-9]+'
I got nothing, so that confirms it.
When I use that command and the x-server is working properly I get the same out
put as Moritz.

Moritz you're probably right, most of the errors i get in dmesg are for
the i915, but I still can't quite point the finger on where the issue
is, furthermore I found that the i810 is just a warning that occurs
anyway (even when the intel card starts properly). So the problemis with

ppa/mainline/v2.6.30/ to solve sound issues.
I own a AAO D150-1b. I just assumed that the touchpad was multi cause I
tested it in win XP and will even accept

I followed the wiki to enable shmconfig, and running synclient -m 100
the value under f (number of fingers) is always 1 weather I use one, two
or three fingers. Which is a pity because it's multitouch under xp with
even pinch
Confirmed for hardy 64 bit.

Confirmed, notes are not saved by vym, if I create a note with vym and
save. When loaded the file has no notes.

hangs for an inordinate amount of time and then starts up normally.
It hangs on this line in strace:

This issue still seams not to have been fixed. I'm still sufferning from
it in Dapper.
Is there a procedure to be followed to fix this? I.e. a way to display
the immages imported into F-spot's directories that aren't being
visualised.
