libav*-dev packages conflict with libav*-unstripped-52. There are two
solutions, imo:
1. fix dependencies between "libav*-dev" and "libav*-unstripped-52" somehow;
2. add new packages: "libav*-unstripped-52-dev".
Note: "libav*-dev" required when building something from sources. For

Sorry, cannot say exactly. When trying to install this addon, aptitude
asks me to confirm not very good decisions, like "downgrade plasma,
etc.".

Note: recently tried (Alt+SysRq)+(R, E, I, S, U, B) combo, once gotten
another "freeze". Doesn't help as well.
It's very frustrating that I can't even safely logout or reboot so many
time (1, 2 and even more per day)...

I thought you recognized wx bug in my report, because it is already
known to you (and as far as I can see from your reply, it is confirmed
for 7.10 only...)
As far as I can guess, the problem is in wxwidgets library (or, what is
it), but not in the OS itself?...
