A quick workaround for those who need hle and rtm CPU flags back is to
set the tsx=on kernel boot parameter:
# /etc/default/grub
...
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="... tsx=on"
...
update-grub
Tested on Ubuntu 20.04 with kernel 5.4.0-31-generic:

If I am not mistaken cron-apt depends on cron package otherwise it will
not run.
At the moment cron package is only recommendation from the cron-apt but
this should be dependency to ensure that the jobs will by executed.

Finaly, i found the solution for this problem.
Since Ubuntu Maverick CUPS will by startet by Upstart instead of init.d
script. Unfortunately Upstart ignores the limits set in
/etc/security/limits.conf. The solution for this problem is to set the
limits in Upstart CUPS config file /etc/init/cups.co
Here, an additional test Test. A new / clean Ubuntu Lucid installation:
root@ts3:~# lsb_release -a

(and LogLevel to debug) but CUPS reduces this to 1/

Hi, the default Ubuntu kernel from Karmic includes support for Xen domU.
You have to copy the Kermic kernel to your Dom0 and make some changes on
the VM config file, see my HowTo: http://www.panticz.de/Ubuntu-Karmic-
domU-under-Debian-Lenny-Dom0 then you can start your VM.
