I've just upgraded to 20.04 from 18.04 and am having this issue using Gnome
Flashback(metacity) desktop.
The 'Home' and 'Trash' icons on my desktop continue to be there even after i
have changed the settings using gsettings set

Installing ZoneMinder on 17.10 and notice that it was going to install
mysql-server as part of the install.
