After upgrading to xenial, the -F option returns faulty output
especially when used with field character 'n'.

The crash looked very similar to the go crash that I had filed earlier.
Unfortunately, I don't have the kvm anymore to gather any additional

i installed a new kvm image of UC16 and issued a snap refresh for the
core snap from candidate channel. the command resulted in a segmentation
fault. after the fault, the kvm issued syslogs suggesting that the
device would undergo a reboot. after the reboot, core was updated t
that's quite a turn around @chipaca! what was the issue? also, any
insights on my previous question?

Segmentation fault while executing
Seth, this log is from the last boot and kernel buffer has not wrapped.
I assume that either nothing got logged or some other issue is going
on.. Do you have any other suggestions you would like me to try?

I installed linux-image-extra-virtual
When I ls /lib/modules/3.0.0-12-virtual/kernel/fs/reiserfs/
I can see reiserfs.ko is there.
However modprobe reiserfs
produces FATAL: Module reiserfs not found.
and my reiserfs disks are still not mountable.

With Oneiric running as a guest in a Qemu/KVM environment, upon
installing linux-image-virtual, the reiserfs modules are no longer
available.

thread. I followed the steps above to blacklist rt2800usb and then
installed the backports compat wireless package and things worked fine.
Today, I upgraded to 10.10 and it all fell apart again. I made sure I
