1) open update-manager
2) get error (alert with 3 options 'Restart program', 'Report a bug', 'Cancel')
3) go to terminal and try to run sudo apt-get update
this is what I have:
$ sudo apt-get update
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily
Now apport show 'Application problem' dialog box with "Sorry, Ubuntu One
closed unexpectedly" each 6 seconds.
