I am using 8.04. Can the Ubuntu team include the latest version of vym
in repo for 8.04? We use VYM internally on more than a couple of
desktops in our organisation and I want to keep the laptops 'clean' and
don't want to install anything thats not a '.deb' file. Ideally we don't

This has been in Ubunti since Fiesty and now I have upgraded to Hardy and the
problem persists. Must be an interrupt issue.
My laptop is a Compaq V6120US with AMD Turion 64x2. I have had to modify boot
options to 'noapic nolapic'
