I have the same problem under Lucid. To add some precision to the bug
report: At least in my case, Oo crashes exactly at that point when you
first edit anything in an opened document (no matter which type of
document). So far I could reproduce the bug every time after I recovered
from hibernate mod
So, is there a chance that this package gets included in the official

I think I have encountered the same bug. I made an image of the
situation and you can see clearly that GNU Chess could win with
checkmate in one move. But instead the program waits until the end of
the game and therefore loses.
My configuration is: easy, 10 minutes.

I just have to start tvtime with the command tvtime -x /dev/mixer:video
and it works fine. :)

That doesn't solve my problem: When I turn DOWN the volume the effect
starts. The sound output is okay (but not good) when I turn UP the
volume in ubuntu to 100% and decrease the volume on my speakers.
