Hi Sitsofe,
Yes, the 2D performance is better with the NV driver. I have been using
the desktop now without desktop effects (they were disabled completely).
Once I enabled them, the system feels much more responsive, so I guess
is a bug in nvidia drivers when using only 2D. When it was on 2D mode
I can confirm this using latest gutsy image with updates applied.

Hi, at the moment I have the old card installed with feisty. I will install the

DynamicTwinView and now it is working at 75hz but the desktop is still not very
responsive when using nvidia graphic driver.

Using Gutsy or Feisty with the latest nvidia drivers available (installing
using restricted drivers wizard) is really slow.
My previous card was a 6600 GT (wich I am using now) and worked
perfectly. Now with the new card, everything works much slower. Direct

I have tried using network-manager. First I disabled network-admin applet from
the taskbar and then I install network manager (following the wiki) and reboot.
But with network manager I can't connect to the wireless network.
After some testing I noticed that if i manually do:

Also in Kubuntu i only have xine engine support even if i install

I have a similar problem with the scrollbar in firefox 2 (and latest
thunderbird too), when i scroll a grey line (horizontal) stays there even if i
move the bar.
I don't know why but it doesn't show up in a screenshot, but i can draw it to
explain what i mean if needed.
