/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.
This is with a new install of Hardy after the release with all patches
added to date.

It is not a duplicate of bug #105545.
The latest updates to Hardy (or possibly the latest updates to hal-info
with Daniel Hahlers patch) has fixed this.

My problem with kernel 2.6.24-15 (reported in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/215308) has been
fixed.
The E220 now works perfectly for me in Hardy latest with Daniel Hadlers
patch.

The patch from Niall is still required see the attached kern.logs.
I have tried the current hal-info and your patched vesion.
Current (20080317+git20080318-1ubuntu3) still mounts the CD-ROM part and
disconnects, while your package (20080317+git20080318-1ubuntu4~blueyedppa1)
just works.

I agree:
Icon sizes are fixed.
Font sizes are still wierd - some much too large some too small.
I can't see any pattern... (perhaps because I switch resolution between
1920*1200 and 1024*768 whenever I dock and undock).

The latest update to hardy removed all traces of firefox 2.x.

Also affects the thinkpad X61s.
The DOUBLE_CONSOLE_SWITCH=true workaround has stopped working after
