I just installed Intrepid from scratch and it still has that problem.
It originally updates before my wireless is connected. Either it's not
really fixed yet, or maybe it has and we'll see it in Jaunty.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully EnvyNG isn't going to be like that. It

Every time Compiz is updated, it breaks compiz due to wrong paths in the file.
COMPIZ_BIN_PATH is set to "/usr/local/bin" instead of "/usr/bin"
PLUGIN_PATH is set to "/usr/local/lib/compiz" instead of "/usr/lib/compiz"
COMPIZ_NAME is set to "compiz
I'm running Hardy beta. Same problem. The other shortcuts work. It
doesn't matter what key combination you use for the Home folder, it
won't work.

It's good that there are ways to get the game to work, but you shouldn't
have to use workarounds to get something in the repos to work.

Yeah, I'm still using nvidia, but I never had any problems with this in
Feisty.
But actually, I'm not having the same troubles anymore since the compiz
updates. glxgears still crashes X, but now I'm able to play all of the
games mentioned above without trouble.

I have the same problem. Gutsy, nvidia geforce 7600. Whenever I run
glxgears, or any other opengl app it crashes X and restarts. Some of
the other apps that have crashes X were GNUbik, Dreamchess, and
Neverball. Neverball works in windowed mode, but switching to
fullscreen crashes X. Didn't ha
