Hi,
I have to confirm that that trying to export to Picasa Web using F-spot
fails on Ubuntu 8.04. I have now uninstalled F-spot from Ubuntu.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Choose any JPEG photo (single or multiple) and goto Photo>Export>PicasaWeb
2. F-spot crashes

i own a Dell Inspiron 1525 (officially listed as affected by this bug),
and all the back and forth talk with regard to whether or not this bug
has actually been fixed, is the number one reason why i haven't already

Doing the following solved the problem for me:
1.Uninstall the google toolbar
2. sudo apt-get install libnspr4-dev libmozjs-dev
(libstdc++5 wasn't installed and neither were libxul-dev nor gcc-4.1 . I had
gcc-4.2 and it worked.)
3. Reinstall google toolbar
Marking this bug fixed/solved.

fixed. maybe the bug should remain open until the firefox-3.0 package

I confirm this bug on my Kubuntu 8.04 LTS system. Tagging bug as

A workaround is to change the command option for qtparted in the kmenu
editor from the original 'qtparted-root' to 'kdesudo qtparted'.

In Kaffeine's Handbook on Kubuntu 8.04 LTS look at Chapter 2. "Player
Parts" .
Apparently Kaffeine can either use xine or gstreamer . Afaik, mplayer is
just another frontend to either xine or gstreamer. I guess you'll have
to download the kaffeine-gstreamer package to enable the gstreamer

erratically. Flash works flawlessly on some sites but on others like

An update:
I was wrong to think that flash works flawlessly in Konqueror 3.5.9 . At times

plugins installed, can't play any embedded Real Player media. An error

This workaround does the job very well. It's not perfect though. For
example, playing flash radio on last.fm doesn't work. There's another
problem too. Maximizing flash videos to full screen is buggy. :-
1.Go to youtube.com
2. Open up a video
3. Maximize video to full screen.
4. It works
