This workaround does the job very well. It's not perfect though. For example, playing flash radio on last.fm doesn't work. There's another problem too. Maximizing flash videos to full screen is buggy. :-
1.Go to youtube.com 2. Open up a video 3. Maximize video to full screen. 4. It works Now do the following: Repeat steps 1 and 2, then before step 3 click on the KDE Panel. The KDE Panel covers the lower portion of the video.
