On Ubuntu 18.04, using german locale, GNU date (v 8.28) doesn't accept
it's own output format using date -d. This is awkward, as date -d is
meant to parse all "natural" formats, and of course the output of date
will often be stored and need to be read again.

On Thinkpad T420s, switching off Bluetooth make the device disapper by
rfkill soft blocked state and hence the icon. Reenabeling is possible
via rfkill only, all UI applications state "no device" until then. If
reenabled by 'rfkill unblock ', icon reappears immediately and
all is fine until we swit
As I already mentioned, I am aware that nautilus is triggering the
problem. However, no program should be able to bring down the desktop by
doing bad UI operations. Period.
So wether metacity or Xorg or anything I never even heard of is the

switching back to german, relogin and rebooting, hoping at each step
that the apps would switch back to german. Only after all that fails, I
removed arabic from the list, with still no effect.
So there is definitely a bug in language

It actually seems to crash if currently visible elements are removed
from the configuration tree.
For example, it can be triggered reliable by removing applets from
gnome-panel while viewing gnome-panel's config regarding this applet in
dconf-editor.

As of yesterday, indicator applet disappears for me too.
It is running on login screen, but immediately crashes when logged in.
This is a regression by updates of the last some days I guess.
