Also affects Karmic Server on Lenovo S10e,
sudo ethtool -K eth0 tx off

If it is impossible to get it properly fixed in the kernel,
how about an error handler that does the equivalent
of the ethtool fix, and automatically submits a bug report

System clock was working fine with ntp prior to upgrade.
But since the karmic ugrade my clock has not stayed in sync.
I turned off ntp. And ended up writing a little bash script:

Okay! I found a workaround for entering formula fragments in the text

The above suggestions provide only a partial solution to the problem.
Sometimes Namain's auto text suggestion is exactly what is needed. But
sometimes I need to insert a formula fragment into the text. For

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: firefox
My /home directory is nfs mounted on a few machines.
If firefox is running on one machine box,
and I try to start it on another, it complains and refuses
to start until it is closed on the first box. Understandable,
but annoying.
Occaisionally
Don't know if I'm seeing this exact bug or a similar one.
I'm just getting a small lan set up and so far I'm only
seeing this problem on my fastest box a 3.4 GHz P4
with 1GB ram.
sudo mount -a
does solve the problem till the next reboot.
