OK, i figured out what the problem is: i am using kernel 2.6.32rc8 from
mainline repo.
Apparmor loads fine with ubuntu stock kernel. Is this a bug with the new kernel
or a missing patch applied to the stock kernels?

indeed what i was testing), so it is not enabled by default.
I ran several test and the ONLY way to get DRI2 working is from console:

I've just upgraded to karmic and i have an ntfs partition mounted at boot time.
After grub and before the splash screen, the system complains about a missing
utility fsck.ntfs
Such program doesn't yet exits (see
http://www.linux-ntfs.org/doku.php?id=ntfsck).

Maybe i didn't explain myself well. The program doesn't crash, it sticks
on loading (the window is unresponsive) and i have to force quit (kill
the application). In this way a crash report is not produced.

When the option "automatically load subtitle files when movie is loaded" is
enabled, totem stops responding while loading a video with subtitle file. If
the option is disabled and the subtitle file is specifie

it is called "radeon" in xorg.
I know it is a strange issue, but i don't understand why only this
applet is involved.

I have a similar problem (if not the same). I figured out that keyboard
shortcuts operate on "Master Volume" instead gnome-volume-applet let you
choose the channel to track. In my case, the channel "Master" doesn't
affect the output volume at all. The real master volume is instead
"Headphone". This

I have the same problem.
I can mount and browse shares using nautilus or smbmount but i cannot read or
write files.
Files Permissions are OK.
The server is Windows 2003 pc that shares a public access directory (no
username/pass required)
