Igor Gomes' solution didn't work for me. By the way, don't try sudo apt-
get install bluez*, it will install a lot of bluetooth-unrelated
packages, instead, try this command:
sudo apt-get install bluez bluez-* bluetooth libbluetooth3

okubax: what type of USB hardware do you have? What's the output of:
lsusb | grep Blue
(If you don't trust me about that command, here's what it does:
- lsusb - lists all usb devices found on your system
- grep Blue - takes that listing and only displays those entries that
contain the word
$ lsusb | grep Blue

I can connect from the phone to the computer (pair, send files, etc) but
not the other way around. From the computer I can't pair, can't send
files, etc. Used to work in Hardy. What ha
I can confirm this bug in Intrepid. Running sudo tasksel remove lamp-
server removes the desktop and other packages (so far I just reinstalled
ubuntu-desktop and everything seems ok).
