Wow! I just tried the live cd with the final version and i am completely
-_- the bug was not fixed and it was detected 1 month be4 the final
release...This bug is critical and there should be an upgrade patch to
solve it instead of just editing the files like i did...

It's a bug on splash screen, desactivate it like i did. It boots faster
and no errors. Check my video information if you don't know how to
desactivate the splash screen

Hi again, i've turned off and power on the computer about 10 times, i
also did 10 restarts and it didnt happen absolutly anything, the boot
goes ok (like it should be), and there's no beeps or freezes.
Seems like the problem is on the splash screen

The same happens to me on my desktop, the bar freezes and doesnt move :(
On my laptop it doesnt even get to the bar as is blocks before, it also
does a lot of annoying beeps, the boot for this 8.10 is completely
messed up, i've read lots of coments in lots of websites reporting bugs
ith the boot.
