The same happens to me on my desktop, the bar freezes and doesnt move :( On my laptop it doesnt even get to the bar as is blocks before, it also does a lot of annoying beeps, the boot for this 8.10 is completely messed up, i've read lots of coments in lots of websites reporting bugs ith the boot.
