Tested in Ubuntu 9.10.
Steps to reproduce the problem
1. Select multiple .mp3 files in Nautilus file manager
2. Select "Open with Exaile Music Player"
3. Now every .mp3 file is opened in a Exaile player instance of its own.
If this is done with lots of files, it consumes all
I can also confirm #6 on my Compaq 6715s laptop.

Running Intrepid alpha HP/Compaq 6715s with 2.6.27 now boots without
extra kernel parameters.
But the system is painfully slow - starting and logging in takes almost
15 minutes in total and the system is practically unusable after that.
So I have to use 2.6.24 with nohz=off option instead. I have

external USB DVD-ROM.

It seems that installing python2.4 and bzr seemed to do the trick! (see
the trace above)
Now I only have jockey-common and jockey-gtk problems left. But it's
another issue, isn't it (?).

I have the same problem on one Ubuntu host (feisty), which was upgraded
from Egdy. There were some locale problems for some time ago, so it may
be causing this.
