the sudo reboot didn't shut down... the power button held for 4 sec shut
it off with the bluetooth speakers acking the shutdown. the reboot had

i also tried to get systemd.resolve and dnsmasq working
the /etc/default/lxc-net setup the dnsmasq using ultimately creating the
dnsmasq shown below
the config did assign static and dynamic ip's to the containers however i could
not access dynamic addresses by name. so i added to
/etc/systemmd/resolved.conf
DNS=10.0.3.1
Domains=lxc
recheck cat /etc/resolv.conf
it should have added a search for lxc with nameserver still at 127.0.0.53

i also have an out of the box fujitsu fi-6110 which function perfectly
on 12.04 and i believe new install of 13.10 but the upgrade of 13.10 to
14.04 made the scanner invisible to sane-find-scanner and sanimage -L.
also noted udev did detect the scanner as above and shown in the logs
